MY STORY
Sport has always been an important part of my life. I grew up on the coast in northern Germany, and the sea has always had a very special place in my heart.
I started studying sports science because I wanted to understand more about sport, the human body, and how to help people heal through movement. After my Bachelor's with a focus on rehabilitation and prevention, I gained practical experience at a rehabilitation clinic working with medical training.
I then pursued my Master's in Exercise Biomedicine in Halmstad, where I deepened my knowledge. Working with clients from people with scoliosis and Parkinson's to athletes, I realized you can always reach your goals if you just work continuously towards them.
True2Function was born from the idea of combining sport in a natural environment—not in gyms with artificial light and loud music, but on the beach where health and sport can truly connect.
WHY THE BEACH?
I chose Halmstad's beaches as my training ground because the beach is the perfect place to combine sport and health. Get out of the office, out of rooms, into fresh air—and move your body with functional exercises. The unstable sand activates stabilizer muscles, and training outdoors has additional benefits: the sea's calming effect on body and mind, promoting relaxation and stress reduction.
